Established in 2001, Corbett Group Homes, Inc. is a private non-profit organization providing services to children and families.

Corbett Group Homes, Inc. delivers a unique spectrum of social services designed to protect children at risk of abuse, neglect or abandonment; strengthen and stabilize families; help young people break the cycle of abuse and neglect; and find safe, loving homes for children.

Corbett Group Homes, Inc. (CGH) includes three Level 12 therapeutic group homes which serves adolescent at-risk females (CGH #1) and coed youth (CGH #2 & #3). All three homes provide residential services to youth who may have histories of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, often accompanied by substance abuse.

Many of the youth are previous placement failures, or could be new to the foster care system. CGH #1 accepts youth between the ages of 12-17 years of age and CGH #2 & #3 accepts youth between the ages of 6-17. Exceptions can be made for those youth in program and turn 18 years old.

All programs are designed to be transitional, and not a long term placement. Corbett Homes believes the group home milieu does not replace a home for long term stability. However, occasionally, the group home can be the best option for some youths who have extensive mental health and behavioral issues.

One of the core values of Corbett Group Homes is maintaining school of origin. By maintaining school of origin, we hope to minimize the huge trauma of placement changes with our youth, whether that is a removal from their home due to abuse and neglect, or from a placement failure. Corbett Group Homes will transport to any school in Santa Clara County and select outlying counties for all youth in placement.

Corbett Group Homes, Inc. is opening a new group home that is solely dedicated to Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) May 1, 2014 in San Mateo County.
